Ross Lapointe (Broker) – Results with Integrity
I began my real estate career in 1994 as a Sales Representative. This was a challenging time to be in the business as the market had just recently bottomed out, mortgage rates were around 13% and houses would stay on the market for months unsold. Many people had houses that were worth far less than the original purchase price or the value of their mortgage. Sales Representatives had to be creative and think outside the box to assist people with their house sale. The Multiple Listing System (MLS) was in its infancy, there was no internet to provide virtual house tours and only a few agents even had cellular phones.
Since then I have assisted hundreds of families and individuals in making one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. I have sold houses, condominiums, income properties, vacant lots, cottages, investment properties, businesses, and leased residences and commercial properties. I have sold properties from Newmarket to Queens Quay, and from Oakville to Newcastle… wherever my valued clients’ needs take me.
Over my 26+ year career, I have worked for various brokerages including Sutton Group, Re/max, Forest Hill, and most recently Royal Lepage. My real estate business has grown and developed over the years, thanks to my repeat clients and their referrals. In 2005, I completed the required brokerage courses, becoming a Real Estate Broker thereby combining my practical experience with additional education and a comprehensive knowledge of my profession/craft.
